WORKSHOPS
Workshops provide students, teachers, parents, school and district leadership and policy makers with a unique opportunity. They may actively engage in discussions about growing up, learning, old school, not school, new school, challenges, advantages, new approaches, obstacles and more. Generally, we recommend a workshop setting with a mixed group so that people of all ages can share ideas.

SPEECHES
The ideas expressed by the many children and teenagers who have participated in KIDS ON EARTH video interviews come together with commentary from the author(s). Generally, we recommend playback of several videos, and interactive approach that encourages a lot of audience interaction.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Most of the ideas covered in the KIDS ON EARTH book are not new, and many can be implemented without large-scale change in the education system. By focusing on trust, student engagement, personalized education and listening, teachers develop a broader range of options for use in planning, in the classroom, and in relationships with students.

INTERVIEWS WITH KIDS
MAs time and logistics allow, a professional visit may include on-site one-on-one interviews with individual students (children, teenagers). We recommend a quiet place (often a school library) to record the interviews. The duration of each interview is about a half-hour; interviews are edited into segments, and posted online.
